Young adults

If you’re >19 years young and unmarried, come be a part of City Harvest’s Young Adults Community.

The Purpose

To bring young adults to an encounter with the life-transforming presence of Jesus.

The Mission

To provide a safe close-knit community for our young people, a place to belong, connect, explore and be themselves fearlessly.

The Gathering

Our young people gather every alternate Sunday at 1 pm after our second English Worship Service over lunch. (There is nothing that cannot be discussed over biryanis!) Also, every meeting revolves around an informal discussion initiated by our youth pastors. These topics are well thought out, relevant, beneficial and practical.

Discussions on Work-Life balance, Marriage, Evangelism in the Workplace help our young people in understanding Biblical perspectives. Therefore, it challenges, inspires and enables our young people to serve in meaningful and significant ways in the church, the college, the community, the marketplace, and the world.

IN THE BIBLE

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. {Ephesians 2:10}

Young people have great influence. Throughout history, young people have been used to impact and change the world. Likewise, God also used young people to bring about change in the Bible.

As a result, our desire for our young people and the church as a whole is to show the love and compassion of Jesus to a broken and hurting community. Watching our young people respond to Christ’s call, become involved, and continue to mature as Christians through servanthood is extremely fulfilling.

The Outreach

So consequently, we as a team have been on missions to remote places and minister in old-age homes and orphanages. We believe we are gifted and contributing our time, talent and finances towards these causes is our way of serving as the body of Christ.
